Cornerstone (Room 10) 9:30 a.m.
Cornerstone is a small class engaged in inductive Bible study and growing in faith. They strive for a deeper relationship with Jesus. They are honest and open with their questions as they seek to learn and understand
more. They care for each other and support various ministries – reflecting the interest of the group and the leading of the Holy Spirit. We come together hungry for the word of God and rely on the Holy Spirit to lead us.

Forum (Room 238) 10:00 a.m. 
The Forum class examines current issues from a Christian perspective. They study the Bible through books and RightNow Media videos. Teachers are volunteers from the class membership. They support various missions such as the Valley Empty Stocking Fund, Salkehatchie Summer Service, Habitat for Humanity, and Honduras Agape. They also adopt a family in need each year for Christmas. We always welcome new members.

Growing Christians (Room 231) 9:50 a.m.
The goals for this class are: to learn to apply Christian principles to everyday life through study of the Bible; to provide opportunities for social interaction; to support St. John’s and the local community with prayers and
service. Ages range from 45 upward. The course curriculum is selected by a committee. Missions are very important to this class and they support several. We love and care for each other. Come be a part.

Discovery Class (Room 224) 10:00 a.m. 
A group who is trying to discover God's will for our lives using Jeremiah 29:11-13, Proverbs 3:5-6, and Romans 12:1-2 as guiding verses. We recognize that in the busyness of life, God is called us to seek him as a group of Christians needing each other for knowledge, accountability, and community. Classes are discussion-based using RightNow Media videos or lessons developed by the lead teacher. We answer Jesus' call for service by volunteering in Grace Kitchen, The Grove Children's Ministries or Foundation Student Ministries, and in many other actives sponsored by
St. John's.

Francis Asbury (Room 240) 10:00 am
This class has approximately 60 members, ranging in age from 40s to 70s and consisting of both couples and singles. They use the Cokesbury Adult Series for weekly lessons, but occasionally have special, seasonal studies and guest speakers. Volunteer teachers from the class rotate on a weekly basis. They assist local families in needs as well as support several mission projects and the annual fall Apple Fest. We welcome visitors and new members. Come join us!

Seekers of Good News (Room 239) 10:00 a.m.
The goal of this class is to continue learning all they can about God’s word so that they might come to know Him more fully, love Him more dearly, trust Him more completely, and follow His example more closely. They do this in an atmosphere of Christian fellowship where volunteers from the class facilitate discussions on the Bible and current topics of interest to
Christians. We welcome people of all ages and at all stages in their walk.

Fellowship (Room 116/118) 9:45 a.m. 
This class uses the Cokesbury Adult Bible Studies curriculum, which is taught by excellent alternating teachers. Before the lesson, they engage in some spirited singing of favorite hymns accompanied by a piano. Current ages of class members are 55 and up. They currently give financial support to more than 25 worthwhile mission projects.
 We always welcome new members.

Friendship (Room 237) 10:00 a.m.
This class consists mostly of parents of preschool to teenage children. Class members volunteer to facilitate the class each week. They study current events and how their faith relates to the real world and how they can maintain Christian ideals in today’s world. The average age is about 35 – 45. They support underprivileged families at Christmas as well as ACTS, Helping Hands and Children’s Place throughout the year.

The Journey (Room 207) 10:00 am..
The goal of this class is to grow in the life application of God's word through Bible Study. Ages range from 40 and up. All are welcome!

Quilting is the process of sewing of two or more layers of fabric together to make a thicker padded material. Sounds pretty basic doesn't it? However, quilts can be not only functional, but also beautiful! Just ask the members of St. John's Piece-Full Quilters.  This group meets each Wednesday morning beginning at 9. They create works of art for local missions, new babies, and to be sold at the annual St. John's Apple Fest.
Things you should know about the Piece-Full Quilters:
- You don't have to be a member of St. John's.
- Your quilting skill can be anywhere on the scale, from "always wanted to quilt, but never tried" to "my quilts have         been in quilt shows several times."
- You have to be willing to have FUN!
- Any and everyone is invited to join or just come by and check out the group.

The St. John's United Methodist Men (UMM) is an organization chartered through the General Commission of United Methodist Men. UMM is a creative, supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually, and to seek daily His will. Our purpose is to declare the centrality of Christ in the lives of men and all of their relationships.
Our major concerns are:
- To encourage knowledge of and support the total mission of the United Methodist Church
- To engage in evangelism by sharing the fullness of the gospel in personal and social dimensions
- To clarify and speak to the identity and role of the man in contemporary society
- To seek commitment to discipleship
- To study and become familiar with the United Methodist Church, its organization, doctrines, and beliefs
- To cooperate with all units of United Methodist men in obtaining these objectives through district conference jurisdiction and church-wide goals.
UMM meet on the 4th Thursday of each month, excluding November and December, with a pot-luck dinner, fellowship, and a short program.
All men of St. John's age 18 and over are considered members of the United Methodist Men.
